I was talking about Singapore SIM card.
I have never bought a SIM card in Singapore, chances are that cheaper SIM cards will have, limited validity period. In some countries you can get a SIM card with life time validity as long as you use it and or top it up periodically. If you go there often enough, you might be able to keep it alive by topping it up.

Why do you think a pre-paid SIM card would not expire? The number of telephone numbers that are available in a system is NOT unlimited.
