I posted same question in CX forum. I did a search for late March JFK - HKG RT tix (thread titled "different fare"). CX own website indicates I'll earn 0 miles.

Is this something new? I am totally not aware of this....not getting any miles on a cheaper economic int'l RT flight. Please shed some light if you can.
