I've been only once in Mozambique, I took TP, non-stop flight from Lisbon to Maputo (LIS-MPM). Actually I was flying from YUL, YUL-FRA-LIS-MPM.
I got my visa before arriving, but you can get it upon arrival (either at the border with ZA or at MPM airport), it costs 25 US$.
