I wonder why Delta would do this, considering that they are about to launch their own service Down Under? Are they thinking that there might be too much capacity on that route (with QF reporting losses and layoffs)? Is there any way that they might be getting toying with an idea of doing code-share flights down the road? Or is this simply re-signing of the agreement V Australia had with NWA prior to the merger?
