Good description
Hi,
I have traveled CDG-LAX and back recently. It is exactly as has been posted. The board crew is simply not interested - except for the "announced meals" - and there is NO BUFFET, NOTHING in F-class to help yourself.
In my case, the meal quality was not so bad. Anyway, they always seem to be in a rush in order to get some rest as soon as possible.
The seating is not up-to-date. There is no privacy and the seats are old and shaky.
On CDG-LAX, the board entertainment system was "out of order" half the time and on LAX-CDG the in-flight-navigation-system was badly configured so that it constantly reported 0:27 as "estimated arrivel time" and 16:25 or so as "time to destination".
On ground level, not only the F-lounge has been greatly improved. Incoming F-passengers using connecting flights with 2-class-service are no longer downgraded to business.
You will be picked up when leaving the incoming plane and then taken to the F-lounge with a nice AF-car. Security check and immigration procedure at the lounge.
They will drive you from the F-Lounge to whatever terminal the connecting flight departs. You will be the first to board the connecting flight.
Greetings
