Oh yes I can imagine it and it stinks. So many friends of mine from Russia have wanted to vacation in Latin America with a nice two or three day stopover in Atlanta to visit me and my family. The need for the US visa though always pushes them to SE Asia or Turkey or the UAE instead of dealing with the hassle of a US visa. I'm thankful Russia allows us to pass through the way they do.
