I'm willing to bet they have an interline agreement, but not sure if it still works on two separate tickets.

Both Emirates and Turkish Airlines have their own dedicated forum, but since cross posting is frowned upon on FT I chose the Emirates forum to move your thread to because on a brief glance it appears a little busier.
