Intuit payroll will NOT make any tax payments unless you set up e-pay and initiate a payment under the "TAX PAYMENTS" tab. It will NOT file any reports with the state or feds unless you initiate it.

I have been using Intuit (Quicken) payroll for my small business for about six months and have been very happy. You can even split a direct deposit between two banks.
