if SQ are indeed 'flaunting' safety standards , ie bragging about them in an ostentatious way , then I am assume that means that you think they are very good . If , on the other hand , the word you were looking for was 'flouting' ( treating with contemptuous disregard ) , then that is a very serious allegation .
The tone of your post suggests that you meant 'flouting' rather than 'flaunting' but for the sake of clarity could you please confirm which was your intended meaning ?
