I realize this is an amateurish question, but if I'm trying to get a $1,000 flight to Hawaii, do I want the amount listed on Expedia as the ticket price (the line before taxes and fees in the Summary box) to be just under $1,000, or just under $1,075? I thought it was the latter and just wasted an hour and a half on the phone being told that was wrong, that it had to be under $1,000. Was the agent right? Thanks.
