Why dont you do this at airport ticketing counter, simply ask agent to change your existing itinerary to the new itinerary you are going to fly. The voucher part comes naturally w/o any asking since the tkt is non-refundable.
These calls of asking for airline vouchers are going to cause trouble for the callers and the rest who can stay calm and wait...
I did have a new itinerary to book but the conversation didn't even get that far. As soon as I said I wanted to change my existing reservation the rep told me I had to contact Expedia. My original ticket was booked just a few days ago and is not for travel until later in the year.
The reason I called today is because there is a new itinerary with good fares that I do want to fly. Unfortunately it is not convenient for me to get to the airport today otherwise I would try that.
How do you suggest I start the conversation? And how should I reply if they tell me I need to contact Expedia?
