They aren't elite with anyone as they fly the cheapest carrier and use travel agents so they don't even get the option to select a seat untill OLCI. (I still think they they could go to the carriers website and select with their confirmation number but they claim otherwise, some are brits afterall)

I know one person who poo poos elite stuff and doesn't even have a OnePass account and I suspect he'd be a Plat w/ the travel he does. He doesn't use OLCI either
