Clearly, you must have had a bad day! I, too, was recently on a flight AMS-ZRH on Edelweiss Air in C and could not complain at all. The only minor issue was the lack of a wardrobe, but I can do without for a short flight and fold my coat to put it in the locker.
Certainly the crew being absorbed by their own duty-free purchases is non-permanent feature of Edelweiss ... However, the lack of leg space and wardrobe is a permanent situation.
