Kellner explained, in detail, why the charge is there (there comes a point where in all probability the seat can't be resold), but then admitted that more than 21 days out, the charge is probably more than it needs to be. He wil be taking into consideration making it a top tier benefit to NOT be charged a change or cancel fee more than 21 days out. No guarantees, but just an example of how he listened and answered the hard questions without Mickey Mousing around the issues.
I was at the CO Do, too, and the one point which Larry kept making was that whenever CO makes a change/decision, there is a method to the madness (like the $150 award change fee). And he admitted that taking away the 500 miles was a mistake!!!
He was very frank, and very transparent. His answers actually made a lot of sense! I didn't get the sense that he was feeding us a load of bull. I believed every word he said.
