The reason CT disappeared was because someone hacked into it and erased everything - along with everything in the database.
CT had a great FAQ compiled effortlessly and painstainkingly by
B-HXB, but unfortunately the original information was not saved so there is nothing left.

Update 08Feb: Thanks to the efforts of
b-hqb who found an archived copy of CathayTalk's original FAQ, we have something to work by.
B-HXB has started the initiative.

If you send me more information, I will cut, paste and merge/move posts to update the FAQ properly. You may also post the information here but send me a PM that you have done so and eventually I will move it along...
