I can second that.
We took EDW last spring from ZRH to Hurghada in C-class.
Both cabin crew and food were outstanding and matched/surpassed LX. on outbound and inbound legs.

You can not blame EDW for the chaos at Hurghada on the return trip. This was worse than a JFK arrival at peak times.
