We flew down to Reno and back yesterday. As it turned out a full 60% of all first class passengers were taking segments runs.

One other passenger actually had business in Reno, but selected this flight because of the great Web Special.

So, if there were no status programs to maintain, would first class have been almost empty? There were, BTW, two empty seats.
