We picked Tulalip because its close to outlet malls and the Boeing factory tour. Not sure of the confusion but i'm planning to go on the tour where you see 777 / 787 in production. I had called and was told last tour on Sundays is 3pm. Will confirm.
Not getting all the way to SEA this time. Will definitely get dow there next time out when I have another day . . . I,m litterally there for 48 hours.
Has the water subsided on the I5? Im assuming thats the route from YVR to Tulalip?
Yes, I-5 is the route, and AFAIK it never closed during the recent flooding. The closed bit of I-5 was south of Seattle, between Olympia and Portland.
Yes the factory tour is where you see the widebody production lines (74s, 77s, 78s.) At the MoF you see things like a Concorde, LBJ's Air Force One, a Blackbird, etc. And in a couple of years, it's likely the MoF will be getting a retired Space Shuttle.
