I used to take something upon boarding a trans-atlantic flight but stopped after the trip when I fell asleep during boarding, and woke up to find everyone getting off the plane. Thinking I was in FRA and had slept through everything I gathered my belongings and started towards what I thought was immigration.
Yadda yadda yadda I remember thinking that we most have come into the elusive "Terminal 3" at FRA because I was very disoriented. I felt like I was walking through a dense fog of confusion.
After trying to speak German to the Mexican at the coffee stand in the terminal and getting a

in reply it dawned on me that I was still at JFK. Apparently our flight went mechanical during taxi.
What a keruffle.
