Out of the gate I admit to being very confused by the upgrade process. I do apologize if these questions have been answered elsewhere. I have a few questions but first let me say my pattern. I made elite for '09.

I selected 6 SWU, 2 SWU for Flight Pass Activities, 2 SSWU & 4 NAU

I tend to buy Latitude NA Flight Passes.

With Latitude Flight Passes I can upgrade 24 hrs before if available.

Can I use the cert at the time of booking and then if space is available 24 hrs out withdraw the cert and use the comp upgrade instead? If so what is that process?

When flying YYZ/DEN/LAX can I upgrade with a cert (or at all)?

If I book a flight to Spain for the misses (she has no status) and I would we/could we use the SSWU and would that upgrade us on all flights or just one?

Can I see the upgrade option online when booking and after booking?

Can I use certs (still waiting them but the web site says they were mailing Dec 31, 08) that I get soon prior to Mar 1 as I just made elite?
