Doubt you can make your son full Platinum. UA people are (were?) able to confer a limited elite status on one other person, colloquially referred to around here as 3P (I believe the official term was Premier Associate), which received a very limited number of benefits and was, of course, behind the other three standard elite levels (well, four if you include GS) in priority. I'd assume NW has/had a similar program.
