Are you sure that it is ticketed by CX? Do you have the CX ticket number (it would have been emailed or faxed to you). CX has a long history of not issuing tickets until "close" to the departure date unless you insist (of course this also means your credit card is not charged until the ticket is issued, so CX staff think they are doing you a favour). From your description it sounds like your PNR is queued for ticketing but not actually issued yet (and may not be for many weeks).
If you have a CX ticket number, and problems persist, give AA that ticket number and ask them to pull it. Most agents can manage that. But if your ticket is in a normal state, that isn't necessary -- most likely it simply has not been issued yet.
