I see those questions still unanswered, so here goes:
- A pass upgrade can be made over the phone if for some reason it does not work online. As far as a certificate upgrade is concerned, it can only be made over the phone. And once a Latitude pass flight is upgraded with a certificate, further modifications or cancellation can only be made over the phone.
- Cancel your reservation (not just the upgrade) over the phone, then rebook online. Make sure there are enough seats available, as the seat you just released will remain listed as occupied.
