For an e-certificate to work properly the account number on the reservation should match the account number of the account the certificate is issued from. If your account number is on the reservation the best way to handle this is to call Guest Services and request a point transfer. They will take your reservation information and prepare a point transfer form, which they can either fax or mail to you. Once both you and your friend have signed the form and faxed it back Guest Services will facilitate the point transfer and issue the reward electronically. You will receive email confirmation when the process is complete.
