I'm running into a big UA brick wall. UA simply will not rebook us and they claim it's a TG problem since it's a TG segment that cancelled. I've talked to supervisors who tell us the best they can do is rebank the miles and that there are no award seats available and they cannot free up other inventory.
They told me to call TG on Monday but since TG doesn't book UA award travel for Mileage Plus members, I'm betting they'll tell me that it's United's problem.
Now they insist there is no availablity in Y either and nothing the next day.

I'm quite familiar with Air Asia (you might notice my location). Did you search out the most expensive flights? I'm having difficulty finding BKK-KUL for anything over $100. And have never spent that much except to purchase the next flight out.
I'm not making it up BKK-KUL was $142 per ticket a few months ago.
KUL-KCH was 408MY. Maybe I got ripped off.
