I've had it. Every time I come to Baton Rouge for work there's some kind of drama with my car rental. Tonight I walk up and get told "We only have compact cars unless you wait 10 minutes for the guy to bring up the full size you reserved." I agree to wait. Time goes by. 10 minutes turns into 15 then 20 then 30 and finally 45 minutes later I have the keys to a full size car. How hard can it possibly be to have the car class I reserved available for the time I reserved it for??? And it's not like this is the first time I've dealt with this situation at the BTR National location either. The lady working their counter gave me the location manager's card, and he'll be hearing from me, as will National's corporate headquarters. I'm sick of dealing with this crap every trip here.
I can't believe I had to wait longer for a rental car than it took me to fly IAH-BTR. Maybe next time I should call them when I board the plane at IAH and have them start trying to find me a car in the class I reserved before I take off.
See, this is why I wanted to stay home today.
