My 100K Cathay Pacific Frequent Flyer miles are expiring on 10/31/03 and I am unable to use them myself. I would like to figure out a way to extend the life of these miles for my future use or get the best value for them before they expire. I live in California. Does anyone have any ideas?

If extending the life of these miles is not possible, I would like to exchange them for one or more airline tickets in someone else's name if we are able to negotiate a deal or a trade.

Ticketing must occur before 10/31/03, but travel can begin and end after this date. Business Class tickets from California to Hong Kong or Tokyo typically sell for over $6000 USD round trip. I would be interested in a cash transaction or a trade for travel vouchers, airline tickets, hotel stays, vacations or other items of similar value in miles or dollars.
