Arrived this morning in Paris from DTW. Have a fairly long layover so thought I'd go to the Air France lounge to relax as I do have a world clubs membership. No luck with that. Apparently can only use the lounge if travelling to the USA or if one is a platinum and you must have your card. Luckily I am and I did have the card. But I haven't experienced this ever in Amsterdam (my usual transfer point). I just show my world clubs card, boarding pass and in I go.
Good luck. The lounge dragons at the AF lounge are real piece of work. We each had 3 valid credentials for entry (Platinum, WC membership, international business class itinerary) and we were still losing the argument with
four lounge dragons. Finally, I insisted on speaking with a supervisor, and the supervisor let us in.
