No, I didn't assume anything. I was just trying to point out the logic of those who said it is legit to change the t&c retroactively.
again, to make it more obvious to people to see where this logic leads--If this is legit for DL to change the t&c and act on the customers retroactively, then it is legit for them to change the terms to
"if you register(ed) for the promo, we will close your skymiles account and forfeit all your miles"
on 12/31, which is exactly following the "retroactive" logic.
