If you're only using certain segments to hold them and will later change the dates, I would rejigger things that so you're only in one place at a time. IMO, you're just asking for trouble with that one. Even if RTW desk says that it's technically OK, it probably happens seldom enough that the res system might not be programmed to understand, and one of the rezzies might be cancelled automatically.
