now says that fuel surcharges (longhaul) will be:
$190 from Oct 1 to 31
$215 after Nov 1

Is this for real? Are they raising YQ despite falling oil prices?…
I'm confused by this as well. The site says:
23,000 yen per long haul segment effective Nov 1
190 USD per long haul segment from Oct 1-31

Yet earlier threads on here quoted the Oct 15 announcement that YQ will be 92 euros per long haul for tickets issued after Oct 20. So which is it?

Also, when trying to redeem LH miles for a NH NRT-HKG r/t flight today, I was quoted taxes & fees of "around USD250." How does LH determine their YQ fees when redeeming miles for LH & other *A flights? Is there a schedule somewhere for this?
