This cost me about $800

So my redemptions are always about the same every year, 1 F to Hawaii over Thanksgiving (which would be about $800 plus two CR1s), 2 C to Asia. Instead I'll buy the 1 F to Hawaii and upgrade using CR1, this will save me 80,000 miles (new chart) and I'll spend an additional 70,000 miles on the 2 C to Asia (125-90 = 35 *2). Is it great? No. Is it the worst thing in the world, not really. Hopefully we'll see some more award space and upgrade space being available after the change.
