On a Qantas international config 763, in business class, seat A is excellent as it is both a window and an aisle (maybe even a middle at a stretch). The config is 1-2-2. I'm sure there are numerous other examples of this out there. Sadly, I think all the QF 763s are being reconfigured to domestic (2-2-2).
My own preference is aisle - I prefer to be clambered over than clamber over, and I like the feeedom of being able to stick my leg and arm out in the aisle a bit. Cop the odd knock from passing pax/trolleys but still worth it. If the view looks like being really worthwhile I may go a window.
