I'm stunned at the amount of stuff that some of you bring on trips. I travel >200k miles / year and I'd go crazy trying to drag around that much.

I bring:

- Either Dell notebook or Aspire One netbook (depending on trip)
- AT&T 3G card
- iPod touch 16Gb + earphones
- Blackberry 8100
- Occasionally Nikon S600 camera, depending on trip

I work in an industry that pretty much depends on me being able to connect to the Internet wherever I am, and I very rarely find myself being caught short with this setup. This is about 80% international travel, predominently Europe, Middle East, Australia.

Charging cables for anything I have with me (USB only where possible) just go into my main clothes bag.

Some people just bring gadgets for the sake of gadgets I think
