Plus, except for the legroom, VA's Y product is lightyears ahead of UA's. It will be nice to have AVOD on a 14 hour flight in Coach.
There is a possibility that by the time they are flying these flights they will have an alliance with NW hopefully with mile earning potential...

Even w/o miles... it will be nice to try a new product (on a brand new aircraft) that does not seem to be nickel and dime’ing you.
