You're right. We should probably write a sticky with links to let people find the best advice on how to reach all parts of Tokyo from NRT.

We should probably give it a title like "Sticky: Japan (Tokyo and beyond) Master Thread". The "Master Thread" title might help a few people who are befuddled by the word "Sticky".

And I guess it would probably need to be placed at the top of all the threads in the Japan forum, to ensure that nobody misses it and needlessly posts a question that's already covered in the Sticky.

That's such a great idea.
