VLML MEALS - post experiences here

After having some absolute crap food on LX in F and thinking back about some other bad meals i have put up with in the past. What airlines do it well or not?

I think it may help out a few to know what airlines I should be asking for asian veg or anything else to actually get a decent feed. I'm pretty fed up with getting fruit as a starter and the dessert.

I am going to keep adding to this post as I hope eventually this thread will be able to help make some infrmed choices about carrier.

All flights are long haul:
************************THE GOOD *****************************
BA's Meals - off the F/J Menu when they have it

AF- AVML

SQ - VLML & AVML

VS - They almost always have a vegetarian pasta option loaded as standard in Y

*************************The Bad*******************************
LX F (VLML)- plate of boiled veg was the main course, fruit to start and finish the meal.

NZ J (VLML) - the same meal as you would get in Y (the purser confirmed this to me)

LAN J (VLML) - cous cous with asparagus, carrot and mushrooms. Was not allowed to get anything off the menu unless there was any left - made to feel very un-welcome.

MH F (CPT-EZE)- no meal loaded, had the pasta off the menu, the FA said "this isn't good as it comes from JNB" and it wasn't
