Flying LAX-NAN FJ as FJ, redeemable AA miles; flying FJ as AA codeshare, AA EQM/EQP; flying FJ as QF, nada. But reading the "may" on AA, one is free to choose the permissive or imperative definition (and wind up mile-less.)
