I can issue an award certificate from my Hilton account in anyone's name. I have to call to request this; it cannot be done online.

I can also move AA miles from my account to another person's Hilton account. This costs $30/transfer.

I agree that I am unaware of any way to combine points in two separate accounts for one award.
