Nasty woman at the Lagos terminal x-ray opened my computer bag and fished out 2 lighters and a pack of matches. Apparently they didn't get the memo that every other screening organization dropped that ridiculous lighter ban over a year ago.
She, being well trained, missed the third lighter right under her nose.

So anyone wanting to keep your bics should be aware to revert back to the old 'small size bic in front pocket' tactic.

But not to worry, if you forget, you can buy a new one at the snack bar off to the right after you pass security.
These are more expensive because they are "secure" bics that have been screened for explosives.
