Yes, correct. That is how it should work. I was only pointing out in my posts that the upgrade standby list does not necessarily
only include people who are confirmed on the flight. There are situations where someone can easily wind up on both lists; and show up on the upgrade standby list even though they aren't confirmed on that flight.
