Someone walked right up, asked to be put on the flight (earlier than the one they were booked on) and went straight to #1 on both the flight standby list and flight upgrade list. Flight was oversold so they couldn't confirm the pax in any seat until one person didn't show up in FC. Three others cleared the flight standby list in coach.

So, it is not only non-revs who show up on both lists. As I've reported, many times on the flights I'm on the same person appears on both lists and they aren't at the bottom of the upgrade list (which is where non-revs should appear).
