That's an amazingly short delay considering AC isn't exactly swimming in extra 77W's, and considering how far away the diversion took place.
AC must have had an action plan for provisioning another aircraft even before original one landed, since it would have taken at least 6 hours just to fly one in from YYZ or YUL, and a good 3 or 4 hours to get one in place from YVR.
Kudos to AC for taking care of their passengers so well! People love to gripe and complain incessantly about AC in these forums, but its during incidents like these that AC
really shines.
