Fair enough, I agree that they are really only good for ribs. Then again, I'm all about the ribs, so it works for me.

I also agree about mom and pop over a chain, but sometimes, in some places, you just want some consistency and to know what you're getting yourself into. That's when I go to Houston's. Take NYC for example, there are a couple hot spot BBQ places (Blue Smoke, Wildwood BBQ, Dinosaur BBQ), but for ribs I mostly choose Houston's. You won't find me at the Houston's in Memphis though, at least for BBQ.
