Just wondering why you are checking a bag. Use the short hops out of Texas all the time and if I am gone less than a week will all fit in travelpro, more than a week they have cleaners at my destination and commute with dirty/clean undies.
Also with WN large frequency have you thought of day trips. I once commuted daily between DAL-HOU for about 6 months. Sleeping in my bed trumps staying in hotel
