I think that in general we overthink things like this. Yes, there is a certain level of concern, etc that go into where to connect, but it's so variable based it's hard to say one is better than the other in general. Like has been said there are more options in ATL as far as flights, etc, but the flip side is that it's busier. The weather aspect is something I have learned to kinda let slide because of its unpredictible and variable nature (no pun intended). I have never been stuck at CVG during a snowstorm, but I have been stuck in ATL during one. Ironic huh?
