The only real shortcoming of CVG (other than weather delays which affect different airports at different times of the year) is the lack of a CRC in Concourse C for DL. C is where many of the RJs are.

Otherwise, it's usually a pleasant place to connect, especially for an A-B (or some permutation thereof) connection.

I really like ORD so I can't make a comparison as far as "bad" goes.
