I totally agree with DELYOW

I find their seat/bed wide and comfortable. The bathrooms are kept spotless and the one fwd of the 1st class cabin is spacious enough to use as a dressing room.

Compared my other preferred F option on DEL-LHR, the food on jet is inferior compared to AI and their cabin staff far less confident and green.

I flew last week from LHR-MAA via BOM taking the night flight out and the day flight in. Ground service was impeccable mainly because it was booked a CIP except for the fact that limo transfer in LHR on the return leg was not in the system despite confirming it personally on the way out.
The flight out was in the night and the staff were really green They forgot to serve soup and asked me three times whether I wanted the salad before or after my main course.
Return trip was even more hilarious. The staff congregated in the galley and never came out unless you rang the bell. I am not used to ring the call bell in First class and I must have used it at least 10 times. The main observations were
1. Never asked for a drink after take off.
2. Never asked for a refill after finishing the acquired drink
3. No wine served unless asked for.
4. Wine poured full into the glass without an opportunity for tasting. I reminded the staff about it
5. Soup served lukewarm with no croutons offered
6. Main course served cold and had to be requested to be heated up
7. No snacks or drinks offered between meals and staff were conspicuous by their absence
8. Champagne served stingily with no refills
9. Cappucino served without coaster and napkin. Had to ask for it
10. Forgot to serve Chocolates after lunch and did not ask for post dinner drink

I am used to excellent service in First class particularly in the London-India-Far east route by BA, CX, SQ and MS. The AA service on their ORD-DEL route is outstanding .
Jet needs to train its staff more rigorously and unless they are brought up to true first class level of service , it is no use having a great seat. It should be called Premium business class rather than First.
I do wish Jet well and only constructive criticism will help.
