Couple of questions:

Have you taken a look at Czech Airlines? They are part of Skyteam, and you might be able to get a direct flight. This might also make it easier to have your luggage checked through. (Taking a quick look, I found tickets for around $300 in November).

The reason I ask is that if you have to check in again at CDG, 2 hours is probably short.

Also, why not check with NW how expensive extending your ticket to PRG would be?
