I've used An An at corner of Soi 1 & Sukhumvit--but he always seems to make them too small--and I'm tired of dealing with him. Last time I told him over and over again to please make them bigger than the last pair (and I took the pair with me and left them) and he still made them too small.

Also, are there any bargains for real leather belts? Or is it better to get these in U.S.?

I heard that for leather, Argentina is the place to go.
Leather Home, Pattaya 2nd Rd. and Pattaya Tai....actually just south of this intersection on the right side as you walk southbound. There are actually two shops next to each other with a hobby shop in the middle. The one you want is on the left side, looking at the building. Ask for Somsak. Tell him exactly what you want...and you will be happy. He doesn't always meet deadlines, but this is Thailand. Also, a nice side item is that you can see the shoes being constructed if you stop by each day....the workers are friendlies.
